Some doctors feel that the morningsickness can be caused by the vitamins that women take when they are pregnant. Most women are prescribed vitamins when they are expecting. Some women are also prescribed iron as well. These can contribute to morningsickness. If a woman ever has severe bouts of morningsickness, a doctor will usually adjust her vitamin intake. Whilst it is important to stay in good health during pregnancy and take vitamins to help your baby with, you should also have to be able to eat and maintain your body in best shape. Excessive amounts of vomiting will sometimes cause dehydration. If you find that you cannot keep any food or liquids down, you should try to talk to your doctor.
For the most part, morningsickness can subside after about the 16th week of pregnancy. It is not dangerous and is more of a nuisance than anything else. Some things that you can do in order to stave off morningsickness is to eat smaller meals and take herbal teas such as peppermint tea and ginger tea, both of which have natural curing powers that will relieve nausea that can accompany morningsickness.
